HOME MEET #4 The Rebels XC teams hosted their final home meet of the season on Wednesday Oct. 7. On a gorgeous October afternoon for a dual meet, the Rebel Girls defeated Mercer County 26-29 while the Boys loss to Mercer County 42-19. In the Girls race, Alyssa Dyken (19:42) and Lena Becker (20:20) finished 1st and 2nd in the race to lead the Girls to the victory. Paige Rewerts (6th - 21:50), Trinity Shimmin (7th - 21:57) and McKenzie Stahl (10th - 23:30) were the other 3 scorers for the Girls. Caden Daum (4th - 17:22) and Payton Stahl (5th - 17:29) were the top 2 finishers for the Boys. Alex Welch (10th - 18:29), Colby Carroll (11th - 18:35), Jack Winans (12th - 18:44) and Brett Browning (15th - 21:05) were the other finishers for the Boys. After the meet, Stark County Superintendent Brett Elliot introduced the Senior XC runners to family and friends in a Senior Night recognition ceremony.
